Brooks Brothers - 1926 Yearbook Advertisement
In the back of the 1926 yearbook for my alma mater that I eBayed last week, I found this nice little advertisement on the first page of the “Ads” section. Funny thing is that 83 years later, the first new suit that I bought after graduation was an 1818 Fitzgerald pinstripe from none other than the Brooks at 346 Madison!
Of note, it seems like perhaps the only four retail stores in existence at the time were in New York, Boston, Palm Beach, and Newport? Can anybody confirm? Appropriate cities, though, I’d say.
